Mothers Shut In
2018 Conference Synopsis

2018 was the groundbreaking year for Mothers Shut In. Founder Carolyn Hayden-Garner hosted the first shut in at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Dallas. Fifty mothers and grandmothers gathered from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Each mother received engraved prayer shawls, a bottle of holy oil from Israel, and the book “The Power of a Praying Parent.” The power of the Holy Spirit filled the atmosphere with a release of extraordinary breakthroughs and deliverances throughout the night. Anointed speakers gave powerful words of encouragement. Mothers testified on behalf of their children and ministered to one another. Their testimonies touched the hearts of other mothers, and they encouraged each other to continue interceding on behalf of their children. The altar call and Holy Communion made a life-changing impact on every mother in attendance. As morning came, the mothers closed with the powerful worship song “Hold Out” by New Direction.
